Simple Chinese take-out style noodle dish.


  • Noodles (Almost any that’s not a thin rice or glass noodle will do; I like fettuccine)
  • Garlic, diced, chopped, or powdered
  • Chive, chopped
  • Ginger, diced or grated
  • 1/2 Onion
  • Meat (anything not ground)
  • Vegetables (carrots, green peppers, etc)
  • Sugar or honey
  • Sesame oil
  • Soy sauce
  • Cooking oil
  • Sesame seeds


  1. Chop onion into squares
  2. Chop meat and vegetables into thin strips or sticks.
  3. Cook noodles per instructions.
  4. Add oil to pan/wok, add meat, cook through
  5. Add vegetables and onion, cook a bit
  6. Add chives, ginger, garlic, stir
  7. Add sesame oil, sugar, soy sauce, stir
  8. Add noodles, stir
  9. Serve, top with sesame seeds if desired
