Tasty take-out style dish. Meat can be substituted for pork, chicken, or the like.

Ingredients:

  • Basic Ingredients:
    • 1/2lb Beef, sliced into bite-sized pieces
    • Florets of 1 head of broccoli
  • Oil pre-fry:
    • Garlic
    • Ginger
    • Chili
  • Sauce mix:
    • 1 cup warm water
    • 2 tbsp corn starch
    • ½ tsp onion powder
    • 1 tsp sesame seeds
    • 2 tsp mustard
    • 2 tbsp honey
    • 2 tbsp Oyster sauce
    • 4 tbsp soy sauce
    • Pepper
    • Dash of 5-spice (optional)
    • MSG/Salt to taste

Procedure:

  1. Prepare sauce by simply mixing all ingredients
  2. Add water to wok/skillet, steam/fry broccoli florets until hot and bright green, add salt
  3. Take broccoli out, douse in ice water
  4. Cook meat to taste, set aside
  5. Fry ginger/garlic/chili in a bit of oil
  6. Add sauce mix to pan, heat until thickened and reduced to taste
  7. Add broccoli and meat to sauce
