Tasty take-out style dish.


  • 1/2lb Beef
  • 2tbsp Soy Sauce + some extra for marinade
  • 1tbsp Flour or Corn Starch
  • 1tsp Oyster Sauce
  • 1tbsp Chinese Cooking Wine (or sherry)
  • Sesame oil
  • Florets of 1 head of broccoli
  • 1 Chive, sliced
  • Ginger ~1tbsp
  • Garlic ~1tbsp
  • Sesame seed
  • Cooking oil
  • A bit of water
  • A bit of salt


  1. Cut beef into slices, marinade with soy sauce and sesame oil
  2. Mix flour/starch, soy sauce, oyster sauce, wine
  3. Add water to wok/skillet, steam/fry broccoli florets until hot and bright green, add salt
  4. Take broccoli out, add beef. Cook through.
  5. Take beef out, add some oil, and fry the ginger, garlic, and chives.
  6. Add broccoli, stir in with oil.
  7. Add beef.
  8. Add sauce mixture. Stir together.
  9. Add sesame seeds.
  10. Serve.
