Fast and simple Italian classic. 4oz of pasta makes a meal.
16oz 8oz Spaghetti 164g 82g Extra Virgin Olive Oil 10-12 5-6 cloves Garlic, sliced 1/2cup 1/4c Fresh Parsley, chopped 1tsp 1/2tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, or to taste 1tsp 1/2tsp Black Pepper, or to taste 3/4c 3/8c Pasta Water, approximately 1/2c 1/4c Grated Pecorino Romano, or to taste Salt to taste
- Start pasta in salted water
- Flavor the oil
- Skillet low-medium heat
- Add Olive oil
- Add Garlic
- Add chili flakes
- Add pepper
- Slowly brown garlic, but do not burn
- Add pasta water, let boil
- When pasta is nearly done, Add 1/2 of parsley
- Add some salt
- Combine
- Finish and drain spaghetti, put back in pot
- Pour flavored oil over pasta
- Add remaining parsley
- Add cheese
- Mix
- Add Salt/pepper/chili to taste
